Made these little boxes for our little grandchildren for christmas - all filled with pink smarties (and yes - did pinch a few from each box but only to even them out)!!!! The Tilda image is new from the Winter 2009 collection and coloured in with distresssed ink and the christmas paper is from The Hobby House. Working on a few more late christmas orders so ... TTFN
Hiya Polly - long time no see. Hope you and Steve are ok
I'm lovin' your little smartie boxes, they're fab. Doesn't hurt to pinch a few, they are better of rattling in the box than being all squished together - lol
Gorgeeeeeoooooooooouuuuuuussssss Polly, you do have a talented knack for creating the unusual. These are amazing. I would be happy even if you ate all the smarties, however I am sure the kids would not. I just love the boxes. cya soon Kate
You little sinner. Last time you ate smarties you were too full to eat your meal lol. Love the boxes Polly, you have are an all round crafter with so many ideas! See you soon. x
Hello, I'm Polly.
I love altered art, cardmaking, ATC's, in fact anything that needs gluing, stamping, inking or cutting is just my idea of heaven!!!!
I am pleased to say that my husband of 7 years is extremely tolerant of my crafts, especially as I tend to spread from one room to another, well aren't all we all a little messy when we're being creative!!
I like to incorporate all kinds of embellishments in my work especially lace, ribbon, butterflies, angels, hearts etc in fact anything pretty and girly. I soooo love pretty and quirky pieces of art. I was lucky enough to see Tim Holtz in the flesh recently - seeing him was just fantastic. It was only a one hour demonstration but its amazing how much inspiration you come away with.
I hope you enjoy my blog
