Simon Says Stamp - Tag it!

It was just Jax and I Saturday night as both Debbie and Sandra were poorly so although we prepped our calendar pages with gesso, we got a little sidetracked and started working on other things (as you do)  and that  was the end of the calendar page!!! :O)

Over at the Simon Says Stamp challenge blog the theme was Tag It incorporating any Tim Holtz products we might have so out came the Papillon script stamp, Snowcap Paint Dabber, Distress Stains in Antique Linen and Vintage Photo, Angel Wings Die and the Tag die (obviously) and one of his Adage Tickets.  I then added lace, little crystals, rose, leafs and a little dangly chram and here it is..........

Right not much time to link it up to the challenge so thanks for looking

Love is in the Air - Dilly's Bean

Lurve, Lurve lurve this site - My Creative Bliss and her challenge site Dilly's Bean - Megan draws such lurvely whimical girlie images that are available as digis!!  Yummy!

So after buying several of the images :O) I coloured this one with Spectrum Noirs, added white gel pen to the hairline, and then decided that an acetate card would be a good card to make as I could hang some hearts from it like in the image.  So out came the Stazon, Stempleglede stamp, a bit of Bakers Twine, a little piece of lace, a few pearls and here it is.....

Kate Cranes 366 Calendar - February

Well I've gone from one extreme to another!!  January is quite a soft muted pink page with white, February - aarrrgh lol  orange and red and believe me that was not quite how I envisaged it!!  But .... that's how it came about and rather than just rip it out and start again which I couldn't as it would have meant tearing out some of January - I carried on and by the time the squares had been added it doesn't look quite as loud as it did a few hours ago!!!  Then again !!!!!!!

I have used Dylusions ink, sprays and stamps for the background and my Stampotique figures, Eric and Karin, have been coloured in with Spectrum Noir pens.  Still need to fill in that empty right hand space and maybe some decoration up top but still thinking about that.  Thinking Karin holding some heart shaped balloons??.   But... It's so LOUD sob lol !!  Hopefully Kate can sort me out next month when me and my crafty chums attend her yummy workshop!!

Nearly forgot - my completed January page!!

Right got a card to post next
