Our Vintage Affair - Pearls and a sketch

Over at Our Vintage Affair we have a new challenge - use lots of pearls and a sketch to follow.

Here is the sketch...

And here is my take on it....

I have used INKIDO papers Rosehage Engel Avis and Rosehage Ros Linduk - beautiful quality papers.  The flowers are full blooms also from INKIDO but I removed the bud from the middle and replaced it with 4 little pearls so I ended up with 2 flowers instead of one!

Anonyme Scrappere challenge

Over at Anonyme Scrappere challenge site the theme for their challenge is Roses.  I seem to have loads of flowers in my stash so thought I would use them to create a trellis arch. 

I borrowed the Martha Stewart Trellis punch from Lynn at Grimsby Crafts and punched away lol!!  Created a couple of little matching garden tubs, added lots of leaves and roses, a couple of butterflies and here it is.....

Birthday Card

I was asked to make a birthday card for a lovely friend at work by her husband - he wanted hearts, flowers, lovey dovey!!  So I decided to make a easel card for a change!!

I have used would you believe christmas paper by Dovecraft!  Some of the papers you could use all year round - very pretty and not very christmassy.  I have used my Martha Stewart punch all round the linen card and very lightly inked the edges of the papers.  A lovely golden pearl flourish was added along with some lace and flowers. 

The hearts are from Nellie Snellie die and I have added a brad so that the top heart swivel open so that a message can be written on it.  A couple of butterflies were also added.

Just hope both of them like it lol!!

Our Vintage Affair - Easter decoration

Over at OVA we have a new challenge starting - make your own easter decoration.

I wanted to use eggs in the challenge but as I have 6 chickens I wanted to use my own little chicken eggs instead of chocolate ones so .... I did!  And...I also used my own herbs that I have growing in the garden along with my courgettes, pumpkins, cabbages, brussels, cauliflowers etc (bit of 'The Good Life' going on in the back garden)!!  And here is my creation.....

Inside...  (Basil, Mint and Marjoram and 3 eggs tied with a little peach ribbon)

Egg box cover... (lovely paper by Inkido, lace, feather and flowers)
