The theme for the Just Magnolia challenge site this week is an Easter Basket - great tutorial to follow but although I did make one with the paper braiding I didn't like the paper I used so made my own 'box come basket' template.
The sitting Tilda's were coloured in with polychromos pencils and the laid down Tilda's were distress inked. The Bunny and the Easter stamp were a £1 each!!! that I found in a bargain bucket. The lovely lilac paper was from Running With Scissors, distressed and then inked with Rangers Walnut Stain. Used again my Martha Stewart Doily punch on some plain white paper and cut to fit each side of the basket. Added some cute little yellow ribbons onto each corner, punched some leaves and flowers out of coloured cardstock and then just filled with 4 Kinder Surprise Eggs. Didn't think to take a photo of the Happy Easter label on the top of the handle!!! but if I get a chance will take it later. And here it is.....
... and the other side...
Well that's one made for Eli Mae - now just another 2 to make for Daisy Mae and Heidi Mae (grandkiddies).
Well thats probably the last post for the next couple of days - have to get stuck into decorating the dining room!!! Thanks for looking and TTFN xx

It's lovely to think you make these for your grandchildren, they are so 'cute'. Hope you get on OK with the decorating. See you soon. x
ReplyDeleteAwww this is adorable, so much work involved and another three to make, how on earth do you find the time lol, they are well worth all the effort though, the gandkiddies, will cherish them - ( still doesn't seem right you being a grandma - you have to be the most glamorous granny I have ever met lol) XXX
