Winter Wonderland Challenge

Whilst blog hopping I came upon a fab challenge site called Winter Wonderland - a perfect way to incorporate making christmas cards whilst enjoying the weekly challenges.

This weeks challenge was to follow the sketch provided and for this card it didn't have to be a christmas theme so I just had to try out this fabulous image by Mo Manning which I coloured with polychromos pencils - love the sketch and will definitely be using it again. I've had the stripey paper for absolutely yonks as its not the kind of paper I would normally choose so have no idea who it is by. I teamed it with some plain papers, added 3 buttons and here is the card....

Well thats if for this evening - still trying to get my frame finished!!!! TTFN x

  1. Oh this card reminds me of that advert where the Mum throws a wobbly in the supermarket, and the words just sum it up! Good luck with the frame, still not done anything myself...... See you soon. x

  2. Polly it looks like you liked the sketch too, it was a lovely one to follow unlike the one I am currently doing, which makes me feel like the little boy in the mo manning image I can tell you. Colouring of image is looking fab.
