Simon Says Stamp Monday challenge - M is for Mermaid

The challenge theme over at Simon Says Stamp Monday is M - make something using the word M, M could stand for the month of May, mist, markers, magenta, mowed lawn, metal, millinery, a masculine project, mounted stamps, or anything else you can dream up!

I decided to make a Mermaid using a 'Mixed Media' doll stamp by my fave stamp designer Julie Nutting and creating a little mermaid tail which I covered in Shaved Ice.  The background was created using paints and stencils on my Geli Plate.  The sentiment 'the world of reality....' is by Tim Holtz and the Banner stamp is by France Papilon for Stampotique.  And here it is.....

Sunday Stamper - Lily the Pink

This is the first time I've joined in with the Sunday Stamper hosted by Hels Sheridan and Hels has picked the theme Lily the Pink - just use Pink on your creation.

I have used my new Julie Nutting stamp -  inking and cutting lovely pink papers from My Minds Eye Lost & Found - Madison Avenue paper pad and finished off with Stickles.  The wings are diecuts from a Cheery Lynn die.  The background papers have been stamped with a gorgeous flourish stamp from a 'free' stamp set  by Indigo Blue - buy Simply Cards & Papercraft and you get this free fab set of stamps /sentiment with it - absolutel BARGAIN!! The stamp 'To hear the angels whisper you must listen with your heart' is my fave stamp and one that I bought when I first started out crafting.  Few pearls in each corner and here it is....
