Just Magnolia Challenge 86 - Sketch by Dawny

Here is my card for this weeks challenge over at Just Magnolia - a  lovely sketch designed by Dawny.

Little Tilda witha  parasol was coloured in with Polychromos pencils, outlined with Warm Grey copic marker and then edged with a Martha Stewart border punch.  The paper was Papermania -  Old Fashioned Christmas, all of which were mounted onto Turquoise Bazzil, the flowers and flourishes are from Marianne Dies and the label with the pc generated sentiment is from a Nestabilitie diecut.  And here it is.....

Sketch Saturday

Made another card for a friend at work this time following a sketch on the Sketch Saturday Challenge site.

The papers used are from Papermania Summer Bloom, the image is Daisie by Sugar Nellie, stamped on Neenah Classic paper and coloured in with Polychromos pencils and the flowers have all been punched with Mariannes diecuts.  Oh and I used my Martha Stewart Doily punch for a change  lol  :O).  And here it is...

Just Magnolia - Sentiment

Made a card for the Just Magnolia challenge and I don't think I read the challenge properly - it said sentiment but I've done a small quote so not sure if it fits the bill or not :O(  Tut that will teach me to read properly!!!

Anyway if it does fit the bill here is the card I made.

Again I've used paper from my ever mounting scrap-paper box so unsure of the papers used, quite a few punches ie my fave Martha Stewart Doily, butterfly, a flower and leaf punch, plus beige cardstock and lots of Range Diamond stickles.  Dancing Tilda was coloured with polychromos pencils, the QUOTE!!  (shaking head) was pc generated.  Well fingers crossed!!

Stamp with fun Challenge 72 - Sketch to follow

Well whilst blog-hopping around Downrightcrafty (Kates blog) the other day I stumbled across another site STAMP WITH FUN that I liked which I thought would be great to help with creating cards for my friends at work to buy.

So this is a card I created following a sketch by the talented Tina.

I am so bad at naming the papers as these were from my ever increasing scrapbit box so I really haven't a clue :o( but they are really lovely and a good quality!  I have just inked them around the edges and mounted them on burgundy cardstock.  The die cut of the hinges I have had for a while(The Hobby House) , Christmas Morning Tilda has been coloured in with Polychromos Pencils and cut out and placed on a oval nestabilitie shape, the lace was from Boyes and the flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Kenny K's Krafty Girlz Challenge - Bold & Bright

I just love these Kenny K's digital images and since I missed out on last weeks challenge!!, I've made sure this gets entered early.  The challenge is Bold & Bright - just perfect for these Bo Bunny 'Love Shack' papers and bright cardstock I've had for a while now.  I used my label nestabilities and ribbon to hold the pc generated text 'Happy Birthday' and 'All That' was coloured in with co-ordinating Polychromos pencils. A pearl in each corner and here it is!!

Whiff of Joy Door Hanger

It's been a long time since I've joined in with a Whiff Of Joy challenge - don't know why as I have quite a few of the Guardian Angels and City Girls stamps so I thought it was about time I joined in with this challenge of a Door Hanger and thought it would be perfect for my little nephew Josh to hang on his door when he sleeps over.

The paper is Websters which was just inked and distressed with Walnut Stain.  Oakley was coloured in with Polychromos Pencils, cut out and mounted onto card.  A few stars were cut out in white paper and I popped some metal buttons in the middle for decoration, I inked up a manilla tag and used Olivia alphabet in the cuttlebug to create 'In' and 'Out' on it (forgot to take a photo of the other side of the tag :O))

Well that's it for today I think.  Thanks for looking

Totally Tilda - Challenge 2 A Shaped Card!!

Whilst blog-hopping last night I came across this new challenge site Totally Tilda - its only on its 2nd challenge but already looks like a brilliant site to follow (which I do now of course)!!

So the challenge was for a shaped card!!  Now that I only have my fave Tildas left it makes it much easier for me to make a card now so I picked Tilda in her apron and made the card an... APRON!

The papers are K&Co, all inked and distressed round the edges with Vintage Photo.  Tilda has been coloured in with Polychromos Pencils.  My fave Martha Steward Doily punch was used on the pocket, my flowers were handmade from tissue paper, pink ribbon added and thats it really.

Just Magnolia challenge - Sketch by Bev.

I now only have a couple of handfuls of Magnolia stamps now - all my favourite ones lol - I had so many of them it took ages to choose a stamp and by the time I had sorted the stamp, paper, embellishments etc it was time for bed :O)))

Its been a very long time since I joined in with such a large card challenge site but I liked the sketch so decided to have a go.  (Think it helps having not to work this week - seem to have lots of time for crafting :O)

This card is for the Just Magnolia Challenge which is to follow a sketch by Bev Rochester.  I masked Tilda on a wooden bench and coloured her with Polychromo Pencils and Sansador.  I have for once just used paper from off-cuts so unable to say which range they are from, distressed the edges with a pair of scissors and inked up the edges with Vintage Photo and punched the smaller papers with a Martha Stewart punch.  Added Voile ribbon and a couple of flowers and here it is.

Kenny K's Krafty Girlz Challenge - On the Dark Side

After another Modem change, email account disabled and several calls to Virgin everything appears normal again!!!  Touch wood! Fingers and legs crossed :O)

Third time lucky for the Kenny K's Krafty Girlz Challenge - blogged the last 2 cards for their challenges but by the time I'd linked them - was too late. This time DAYS early :O)

For this card I drew a corset onto white cardstock, cut it out  and covered it with paper from the K&Co Madeline range - really love these gorgeous pretty papers!.  I added extra card and paper in the shape of the bra and inked all edges with Vintage Photo.  Luscious Linda was coloured in with Polychromos and Sansador and cut out leaving a small edge.  I added some lace, some lovely flower ribbon which I have just about used up now and adhered some white decorative pearls down the centre.

Right - before I get sidetracked again - better link this up!!
